The mission of the Cherry Tree is to facilitate a greater sense of community among the George Washington University, to bring together more closely the various departments of the university, and to keep fresh in our memories each year of increased student activities and college spirit.
To carry out this mission each year, we need the help of many and the aid of technology:
- For design and photography editing we use Photoshop CS3, InDesign CS3, and Illustrator CS3.
- For photography we use both digital and film cameras including a Nikon D100, Nikon F100, Nikon N90s, and Cannon EOS Elan II.
The professional photographers at Thornton Studios take all of our senior portraits and support our photography department.
